Observing the Skies
Ritter Planetarium offers many opportunities to observe the nighttime sky. The planetarium utilizes Brooks Observatory atop McMaster Hall. Observing at Brooks follows the Friday evening planetarium programs, depending upon sky conditions. Patrons wishing to observe without attending the program can meet up with the audience immediately after the evening program ends. It is recommended to meet in the lobby of the Ritter Planetarium at about 8:15 pm (9:15 pm during Summer months).
The Ritter One Meter Telescope is open the first Friday of every month -- weather permitting -- for public observation after the evening program
